Women’s Health & Wellbeing Services: Website Re-design

THE CLIENT

Women’s Health & Wellbeing Services are a not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged women and their families. Their website was hosted on a website builder that limited the ability to make changes. Over the years, a lot of content was added that resulted in a labyrinth pages on the site.

We rebuilt the site with a clean design focusing on the visitor’s journey. The new design features easy access to WHWS service pages and contact details.

I really appreciate that I can have an open conversation with the team at Jumpstart! In the past (with a different company) when I asked questions they were met with defensiveness.

As someone who is technologically challenged, I love that I can say ‘hey, what’s happening with this?’ ‘What does this mean?’ ‘How can we make this work better?’ And every question is met with ‘Thanks for the feedback’ ‘We can make that work’ ‘what that means is ….’ ‘We can show you how you can do that so you don’t need to pay us to do it’ or ‘have you thought about ….. as a way to bring in donations?’

I appreciate that I can ask questions and not be met with hostility or defensiveness. I also appreciate that I don’t know what I don’t know and Ming and the team at Jumpstart don’t say ‘well you said the scope was this so this is what we did’, instead they guide us beyond what we thought we needed and give us suggestions that we would never have thought of as we don’t know to ask!

Also, I have to say how competitively priced the web builds were. We came for the web build, staying for the marketing support (which we sought out and didn’t experience any hard sell for!)
